We are not quite ready for a paperless society, because there are so many cool things you can make with paper. Join us as we reshape, transform, cut down and take flight.

Elementary and middle school students, families, and educators are invited to join us for FREE hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fun on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT on The University of Texas at Austin campus. (Traduzca esta pagina.)

Presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM), the national award-winning STEM Girl Day offers K-8th graders the opportunity to explore STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities hosted by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians, and other STEM enthusiasts from student organizations, research centers, corporate partners, and community organizations. All K-8th-grade students and their families, educators, and other adult chaperones are welcome!

As part of UT Austin’s outreach and recruitment efforts, STEM Girl Day serves as an early pathway for students to explore higher education opportunities and future careers in STEM. Through engaging demonstrations, hands-on challenges, and campus experiences, we aim to ignite curiosity and confidence in STEM for all students.

Winter Fundraising Campaign Update

First and foremost, THANK YOU for your generous gifts! Your donations on Giving Tuesday will help to continue the work our team has been doing to inspire life long learners in STEM. We are continuing our winter donation campaign to move us closer towards our goal of 5k! Examples of the programs you support range from hands-on rocketry, robotics, to drone coding camps, with future community based sessions in the works.

We’re honored to share that in less than a year, we’ve partnered with UT Austin, Mclean Hospital in affiliation with Harvard Medical School, Austin ISD, Lockhart ISD, The Girls’ School of Austin, Girl Scouts of Central TX, and the YMCA! Since our last update, we’ve recently partnered with The Andy Roddick Foundation and The Learn All The Time Network to enhance our ability to serve the community and the programs we have in place!

No gift is too small and every donation helps us continue the impactful work we’ve been doing.

Thank you all for the support you’ve shown us thus far, and the Happiest of Holidays!
