We are not quite ready for a paperless society, because there are so many cool things you can make with paper. Join us as we reshape, transform, cut down and take flight.
Elementary and middle school students, families, and educators are invited to join us for FREE hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fun on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CT on The University of Texas at Austin campus. (Traduzca esta pagina.)
Presented by Women in STEM (WiSTEM), the national award-winning STEM Girl Day offers K-8th graders the opportunity to explore STEM through grade-appropriate, hands-on activities hosted by scientists, engineers, astronomers, mathematicians, and other STEM enthusiasts from student organizations, research centers, corporate partners, and community organizations. All K-8th-grade students and their families, educators, and other adult chaperones are welcome!
As part of UT Austin’s outreach and recruitment efforts, STEM Girl Day serves as an early pathway for students to explore higher education opportunities and future careers in STEM. Through engaging demonstrations, hands-on challenges, and campus experiences, we aim to ignite curiosity and confidence in STEM for all students.
